Truly, what is the difference between men and Women's Golf Clubs?
I went to 2 stores and looked at golf clubs for my middle daughter. OMG! Women that there were very few and even fewer left-handed (which is for me). I buy a game grid mens clubs next ta nothing. I guess you can "customize" to fit anyone. So tell me people, what is the DIF. Additionally, when you start selling the Woods INDEPENDENT irons? I know its been a while, but WTH!?!?

The amount of momentum that a given player can transfer to the clubhead depends on the strength of the golfer and technology. The increase weight does not increase the speed of the head, usually decreases. The reason clubheads designed for women are slightly heavier because women's clubs are usually built with shorter shafts. In order to properly balance the club in the shorter length, the head should be slightly heavier. Balance Club Golf is a delicate and controversial subject, involving tradeoffs between total weight, balance point (which is influenced by the distribution of weight between the grip, shaft and clubhead) and the moment of inertia (which, roughly speaking, is the resistance of an object to be rotationally accelerated, but is influenced by the weight and length). As a specific example of the weight difference, a man typical of 9-iron head weighs 283 grams, whereas a typical woman of 9-iron head weighs 293 grams.
