Although golf has existed for a long time, starting in Scotland, the fashion of golfers has become – from clothing to shoes.

The history of golf clothing and accessories is sketchy, but records show Woolrich Co. was the first to specialize in outdoor clothing. Woolrich, who became known for hunting coats, blankets and he got the uniform knickers in the 1920s. Throughout the 1930s and 40s, dressed in golf quite often the lines of fashion. Unlike tennis, where he became the skirt very short, while the golf clothes kept its length.
