Although golf has existed for a long time, starting in Scotland, the fashion of golfers has become – from clothing to shoes.
The history of golf clothing and accessories is sketchy, but records show Woolrich Co. was the first to specialize in outdoor clothing. Woolrich, who became known for hunting coats, blankets and he got the uniform knickers in the 1920s. The piece golf clothing was introduced in the mid-1920s. New York's Best & Co. sold a dress called "Shirt." This piece of dress was perfect for golf and other active sports, and was so popular it was widely copied and became the most popular style of golf apparel for the next 30 years.
