Are there any good split cv boots i can use to save me a lot of work?
I’ve heard they aren’t very good but are there any kinds or brands that will work and save me from removing the whole shaft? Or any other tips on saving me time for replacing a cv boot? thanks
YOU DONT WANT TO BUY SPLIT CV BOOTS FIRST THEY CAN BE TRICKY TO INSTALL PROPERLY AND THEY NEVER SEAL COMPLETLY ANYWAY AND REMEMBER THAT YOUR BREARINGS AND JOINTS IN THERE HAVE ALREADY BEEN EXPOSED TO DIRT AND OTHER ROAD ELEMENTS WHICH WILL SOON GIVE OUT ANYWAY. YOU ARE BETTER OFF BUYING A REBUILD CV JOINT AND KNOWING THAT ALL IS NEW.
