Want to swap a B18 in a Civic and go turbo on the stock engine. Good / bad idea? Recommend?

I want to swap a B18 in my 94 Civic Turbo and go right the right stick so you can get the benefits of significant power before. Eventually replace the piston head, shaft, and all other necessary improvements … If you know anything, advice, knowledge or anything of this kind make a trade like this, please let me know everything you can about an exchange of turbo B18. Good idea or not???

The B18B is a good engine for a turbocharger for a number of reasons (strong bars, lowish compression ratio, thick walls cylinder management and options for large motor). The key to a reliable forced induction set in a normally aspirated engine suitable engine management and improve conservative. Plan to run boost low (6-8 psi) and a front mount intercooler. Use a small turbo (stock turbo Eclipse and Talon work well because they are assigned to 2.0 liters) with 390 or 440 injectors (again Eclipse and Talon-390 automobile and 440 versions are 5spds). Next step up to a Hondata or AEM UEGO. They can not resist the price. Spend the money now, or walk later. Overall, each 7hp psi intercooler is worth it. At the bottom, you can take 140 hp and a 6 psi add B18B 42 horsepower. This will make you very happy, also will become smoke when the wheel spins passengers with zero grip. Step # 2 is an LSD (limited slip differential) but it is much more and allows you to stick to a budget. Alternatively, the B20B is the stock CRV engine with more torque than the B18B. It's so easy to turbo. Good Luck
