Should I abrade the butt end of a graphite shaft before applying grip if only 3″ of dull finish is left ?
After trimming to playing length, some shafts don’t have much area with a dull finish left at the butt end.
It would be unnecessary to do that since the grip tape you use would be the main adherant for the grip.
