A good golf game is hard to find, especially a good game of its own. We see PGA Tour players and make it sound so simple. However, if you are sincerely interested in learning new and good manners in which to play the game, then you've come to the right place.
The first suggestion I'm going to give is by far the best and that would be to use the services of an approved local PGA professional golf. The work of a professional is to help find the best swing for your golf game in particular. Unlike of tapes and books that you see on infomercials and widely available online, golf professionals actually see you play and offer advice and guidance that are specific their personal strengths and weaknesses. Golf professionals can offer assistance, especially with the shooting problems such as sand traps and chip shots.
The following series of suggestions that can make are intended to help those who are skeptical of the aid it can offer golf professionals can not afford the services a golf pro, or just have no desire to employ the services of a professional golfer. That the opinions of a right turn when confronted with trap sand is:
1) The objective of golf is to get the ball in the hole in as few strokes as possible. With this in mind, it makes sense when you are caught in traps sand, play smarter rather than harder. The goal is to escape from the trap as quickly as possible. If the best game is to hit the ball back on the assumption that a successful short and take the loss at once instead of landing himself in the same trap in the course of several strokes.
2) This may seem obvious no, but using the right club is extremely useful to get the ball in the bunker. Remember that sand trap field is less than desirable in that hitting a ball with that being said, with a pitching wedge, sand wedge, or other high loft club have the best opportunity to not only get your ball but to have some control over where it goes once this is done.
3) Follow through. Let me say this again, go ahead with their shots, even in the sand trap.
4) Open the clubface, turning the club head. This increases the loft and increases the probability of a soft landing.
These tips are not infallible nor are they one size for all. Golf is a sport that is mainly based on shape and feel. If appropriate for you, then it is likely that the way forward. I still encourage you to seriously consider the possibility to hire a professional golfer to help you find what works best. If that's not the course you wish to take or feel you can take at the time, I hope this will help.
