Rarely will you find people who are satisfied with their noses. Then there are people born with defects of the nose causing breathing problems long restricted period and the people who have damage to their noses in accidents. Open rhinoplasty

There is a vertical strip of skin called the columella that separates the nostrils. When a major Reform is necessary, incisions are made in this area of the nose. This is comparatively more complex procedure and is referred to as "open" rhinoplasty.
After the incisions are closed, some swollen materials are pushed into the nose along the nasal airways as a filler to support the renewed structure. In most cases, an external splint is applied also to assist the purchase of your new nose shape. This splint that the patient has to carry on nose at least six to eight days also helps in the healing process.
