Bertha Hawkeye
Help- just purchased a Callaway Big Bertha Hawkeye 9?

Off eBay. Don’t know anything about golf was supposed to be a gift. Gift was supposed to be a driver to replace a Nike sumo but looks like it might be a wood. What is it, and can it work as a driver? Thanks
Here is the listing title from eBay:

Callaway Big Bertha Hawkeye 9 degree driver

and the link to eBay:

Sorry on my iPhone

It is a driver.

Drivers are usually described in loft angles which typically range from 8.5 to 12 degrees although there are exceptions to this. So this one happens to have the 9 degrees of loft. Loft is a bit of a personal thing so there is no right of wrong loft for a driver, it depends on the user.

Hopefully the shaft flex and loft angle are correct for the person you are buying for.

Good luck!
